look like?
Honestly? It looks like whatever you need it to.
There’s no alarm clock. No packed schedule. No one asking you to do anything.
The week has a gentle shape, meals together, afternoons by the pool, evenings that may go on longer than anyone planned, but you’re not locked to any of it.
Want to read in silence all day and come alive at dinner?

Want to talk about your book the entire time?
Also perfect.
Want to do both depending on the day?

It’s five nights of reading with people who get it. No explaining yourself. No apologising for the spice level or second guessing the level of detail you can reveal..

The Venue
A sun-drenched hilltop villa in Casarabonela, a small town in the Andalusian Hills that feels like a proper escape. (Think House of Wind vibes)
Close enough to Malaga to be easy to get to, far enough away to actually switch off.
The property is exclusively ours for the full five nights. No other guests, no shared spaces with strangers, no fighting over the sun loungers or getting up at 6am to reserve your spot with a towel.
Just our little group, the pool, and however many books you can get through in a week.
It’s the kind of place that feels like home the minute you walk in. The kind of place you’ll want to come back to time and time again.

Hey, I'm Toyah.
smutty Book lover, Massive foodie & Retreat host with 7 years of experience of creating weekends women don't want to leave.
I host smutty book retreats for women who want a proper week away. Spicy books, great food, great company, and the kind of conversations you can only have when you're surrounded by women who also think fictional men are better than real ones.
I'll be cooking for you all week, every meal, from scratch, with way too much love. Food is my love language, and guests keep asking for my recipes (don’t worry, I’ll send you home with your favourites!)
I'm also an avid reader who takes her smut very seriously.
This is a space to laugh loudly, read shamefully, eat well, and exhale.
Come as you are. Leave with a full belly, a new book boyfriend or three, and friends you'll be texting about “that chapter” for years.

Flights are regularly available from most UK airports.

Lots of our guests come alone but leave with friends for life

You have to be 18 to attend our retreats, but there is no upper age limit.
